I actually left in the middle of Sociology to go out to see Unit 21. We were doing the US economic system, making a topic of agro-business. My professor showed a short animated film, "The Meatrix," which definitely reinforced and showcased my reasons for being vegetarian. After showing that, I bailed. It sucks because I got there and found out that Unit 21 was scheduled to play at last call to closing. Luckily, all the guys started showing up and they were bitching about playing so late too. They got their way and played a horrible set, because they don't playing Fort Worth and The Aardvark isn't their usual venue in FW. It was really good to see all those guys again, granted their mostly crust-punks. Everybody still seemed to be the same as in high school, but the extensions of their personalities.
So yeah, I'm being pulled every which way for Halloween parties. I got SG DFW's, Kevin's, Rocky's, whatever Whitney's doing, and a Death Cab For Cutie/Pretty Girls Make Graves show. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I'm not even sure whom to favor over whom.
I get to go out and early vote today at the Johnson County Sub-Courthouse. I don't even need to tell who I'm going to vote for because it's obvious by knowing me. I also need to stop by Border's to fill out an application for part-time work. That wouldn't be bad to work at a book/music store.
