So I had a fucking blast at the show last night. I met up with all the hardcore kids that were at the Ridglea Metal Fest and we kind of stuck together. The hardcore pit was fucking brutal and I had a hard time finding an opening to go out and dance sometimes. Terror rocked 3 times as hard as when I first saw them in Seattle August 1st. I was impressed by Remembering Never, Black Dahlia rocked but didn't play "Elder Misanthropy," Terror (enough said), and Unearth was straight up... Unearth.
I wound up buying a Terror and a Remembering Never shirt at the show. My black hoodie was sweaty, my tshirt was drenched, my X's were gone, and my hydration was low. I changed into the Terror shirt (it's better than driving home in a sweat soaked one), bought some Gatorade at 7-Eleven, and left. I called up Whitney to see how she was doing, and she was at her best friend's house chillin'. I popped over there, played some Tony Hawk Underground 2 with her brother, and me and Whitney fell asleep watching Natural Born Killers. We hung out all morning long until I had to go get my mirror fixed on my truck. I guess I got kind of a girlfriend now, after the talks she and I had. Seems okay, I guess. From what she tells me, I treat her 40 million times better than the other douchebags she's dated. She's a good girl, a little mislead which I hope to influence her for the better, but I do find myself having feelings for her. We'll see how things go and how long things go.
By the way, the only reason why I broke rule #3 is because I didn't come home until 2 hours ago. Otherwise, I would have completely changed clothes after a really good shower.

Wow, that's super cool you got to meet Eric and Tim from NA. I'm jealous. They kept it real...it still chaps my ass the Nerve Agents broke up without me ever seeing a show.
The only people I've met from bands just "out and about" at shows were the fellas from AFI way back. They were all extremely nice then, but when I degraded myself to the "meet and greet" at their show in Seattle last October, they were all quiet and quite distant from everybody in that line. I'd be too if there were a bunch o' people shoving posters under my hands to autograph. Good story.
That sucks about Andy being a dick. I dunno, but I've always kind of pictured him as one.
