The Ridglea Metalfest was great. All of my friends from Dallas Hardcore were there and the bands were PHENOMENAL, even when I've seen them a dozen times.
6PM--My Son My Executioner hit the main stage and just KILLED. I saw Randy Ran cold cock some metal asshole for being a piece of shit.
The top joint of my thumb (which got hurt at Madball by some bro-mosh shitwad) got a little bit more hurt at this time. I don't think it's broke, but it's swollen and limits flexibility and pressure I can exert.
6:45PM--Hands of the Few (formely Final Prayer, formerly Curb Check), kicked mother-effin ass. You niggas don't know shit about OAK CLIFF!
7:30PM--The Bitter End from San Antonio made their debut appearance at RMF and definitely gained some new fans whenever they come back to Dallas. I was psyched to see them, considering their set they played with Kids Like Us and Anchors Away.
8:15PM--Bats and Knives again showed their awesomeness and had a new demo cd and this cr00sh ass shirt for merch. Riley, Joseph, Marcus (Balls Out guys), Rodrigo, and Cameron came out dressed like hot dogs, bananas, condiments and a beer keg to mosh it up. hahaha best shit ever!
9PM--BALLS OUT played the most amazing, phenomenal, outstanding, insane (I can't describe how great this set was) set I've ever seen them play. They dedicated "Relationshit" to all of us who were there from the start for them and true to the hardcore. POUND IT!!! SNAKEBITE!!!
