I've been working on that Macabre poem redux of the Wizard of Oz, but don't want to post any more of it until it's done. As a side-project, I've been working on another (shorter) poem dealing with suicide/depression/a girl who feels unwanted. So basically, it's pretty cliche, but whatever. I like it, so fuck off!
wolfwood and I are going to some dance/club(?) thing tonight with our friend, Jimbo. It's promising to be very entertaining, so I'm expecting to have an awesome time... Even if Jimbo has to be home early.
Hopefully we can fit in dying my hair before we go. I'd really like to do that tonight and have it colored before we go. But things don't always go as planned, so I'm not really counting on it.
Not much more to update on, so I'm going to leave you with what I've got so far of that poem:
"Never loved
Underrated
She's been abused
Underappreciated
Reaching out for help
she cries
as crimson tears
stream from her eyes
Giving up on love's last hope
her faith is slowly killed
She ends it all, she just can't cope
Through her heart the sharp knife drilled
As they approach
their worry thickens
She doesn't seem to breathe
A hand on her cold shoulder
verifies what they'd believed
The cries of endless heartache
ring clearly in the halls
As one by one, discovered, they
she answered not their calls
And at her side
a morbid note
speckled with her blood
'You never loved me anyway
[I still need to think of a closing line... Help me?]"
Hope you enjoyed it!
Leave some love kids,
Sean
