Yesterday I went with some co-workers for some Mexican food at lunch. Then I accidentally had enchiladas at dinner. Today I might switch to another cuisine. Lunch, for instance, might be a tuna sandwich.
Last night I continued to read Heidegger. It isn't terribly slow going but I do feel myself getting a little mired. I've been reading some secondary sources just to make sure I'm following correctly, but they are almost all just as much jibberish as the original. I now understand why Adorno called it the 'jargon' of authenticity.
Anyway, after dulling my brain with Being & Time, I watched the King of Masks. It succeeded in making me really depressed. Then I went to bed.
It is sunny but cold today. After the weekend of near 60s bliss, I'm having a difficult time readjusting.
A friend is writing an article on my former boss for a business magazine. He remains the biggest a-hole I've ever worked for. But not one of those assholes you sort of have to respect. Rather, just a plain nasty asshole. I gave her some of the creepy details.
I don't feel like working. I should go work-out but I left my ipod headphones at home. The perfect excuse not to.
