i had a great time in philadelphia. some great record stores, restaurants, and clubs. read The Good Soldier. Supposedly, it is one of the best novels in the English language but I thought it was really rather weak. Also finished Huysmans' La Bas, which was a fun exploration of the 'Black Mass' and Gilles de Rais. I tried to go to Harry Potter last night but it was sold out so i ended up at Chicken Little. I laughed a few times at least. Busy Monday.

I think I'm going to Palm Springs for New Years.
