Big Update needed, I have been seriously being lazy lately.
So the other week, Heather's grandfather(pappy) had an accident. He went to Staples for something, I think a new camera, and on his way out he fell on his ass. Well this FINALLY got the wheels turning. Instead of living at Heathers, getting married and finding our own place... we've decided to move into her Pappy's instead. Some people finally got their heads out of their asses and agreed to it. Heather proposed this idea back in the summer because it would help us live cheaply, and it would give a 78 year old man someone living in his house for company and to be there if he needs anything. Anyway, it was settled that we'd move in after we've cleaned up the upstairs, which is basically in its own right an apartment.
Pappy has been struggling a lot lately with confusion. None of the doctors can diagnose it and we keep running ideas like altzhiemers, dementia and this and that. Well her mom researched and a lot of the symptoms are could be from an extremely poor diet. I personally think its an old man being an old man and the confusion is a result of constant naps and tiredness. Seems like he is just mixing up real life and stuff he is dreaming. I decided to fully move in almost two weeks ago, since setting a room up there was no different than the room at heathers. In just that less than two weeks, her Pappy is doing so much better. All Heather and I really do is remind him to take his meds in the morning and remind him to eat a real meal. Not just a banana and coffee, then something else later if at all for lunch. The remember his meds, eating more regularly, and having someone at his house to socialize with, he is already doing a lot better. And his confusion always seem to be when he is lying in bed talking to you, so he seems to mix dreams and reality. But we;ve all done that for at least a few seconds as soons as we wake, I think for an old man whose tired all the time, its just worse. That why I think its just an old man being an old man. But anyway, hes doing better and Heather and I are living for practically free. ( we try to pay for things but he wont let us)
Next in my life update, I found a job.......... I hate it. I know everyone "hates" their job, but I think most people just hate working. Me I hate my job cause I feel its below me. The pay is terrible and the hours aren't the best. I am currently working at Ray's Burbers and Fries in Collegeville. Its someone's attempt to take on the 5 Guys Burger franchise, so far they are winning 300 to 2. Hahaha. The job is pretty easy and easy for anyone who ever worked in a full service restaurant. Unfortunately I don't really have any peers there which sucks a lot. Everyone is like 16-22 and still in that act stupid high school and college immaturity phase. Most of them are derelicts on top of that, not that Im much better, but I have definitely outgrown all that. It just seems like the younger and younger groups seem dumnre and dumber. I gues my parents thought the same.
Christmas went well, did a lot of running around, people shopped right off our wedding registry so we got to do that, but overall very nice.
New Years Eve, simple and hung out with friends. worked till like 8:30 came home, showered went to hang out with friends, home by one, drunken sex with the girlfriend, (she was drunk, not me) 5 hours of sleep now I have to be back at work for 9am. Yawn. At least I have friday and saturday off.
Saturday around NOON, my tattoo gets finished. Can't wait.
