Hm....this week I made banana bread and stuffed mushrooms...tasteh! I've been on quite the recipe/homemade deliciousness kick lately!

Going to be in LA on Thursday...I'll be seeing Nestor's parents for the first time since May...it's always difficult seeing or talking to them because I feel so bad...and helpless...I don't know how to alleviate their pain and I wish I did... but I hope it makes them feel a little better knowing that they are constantly in all of our thoughts....

School starts next Thursday...I'm pretty excited but scared...I went to the Fin. Aid office today and may get some loans...I really need them...I don't care if they are subsidized or not, I'd just like to not have to worry so much about making rent that I can't concentrate on my studies...

New Years was cool....One of my friends talked me into going to a show and I saw Drunk Horse play (with another REALLY good r n' r band...can't remember their name...I just know they rocked the house!), after the bar closed a small crew of us went back to aforementioned friends house and hung out for a bit (as an aside...my booty call was apparently pissed that my friends roommate had this girl over that he wanted to hook up with so he left the house in a huff....what the fuck?)....anywho...after aforementioned (I really like this word!) booty call left, he called 10 minutes later saying that a bunch of people were still partying at another friends house so we cruised over there and hung out until almost 8 am! Got home, got laid and was ass dragging the rest of the day so I ended up going to bed at 10 pm...

Damn lady! I was probably standing right behind you. I was on that side too just maybe 20 feet back, next to the first pillar. I was looking for your long black hair but didn't see you.
