I made a Bumble Account ... which is like Tinder - but Facebook verified - because it's still just image / first impressions / effectively marketing yourself in 2 dimensions. Does anyone use Only Fans for dating? I get that's supposed to be more of a voyerism thing but I mean at least with Only Fans you can sell yourself with your body? What am I supposed to do on Bumble take a picture of a bookshelf and highlight all the books I haven't read versus have read or just like pose in front of it like "oooh look at me deciding what to read from what might be my own collection of books" I deleted the Bumble Account and am really struggling with this urge to delete facebook and delete suicide girls and uninstall insta, if passivity is the affirmation of choice even if 2020 got me back onto instagram and back on facebook and streaming on Twitch ... I'd rather not be in a weird marketing competition for anyone's attention. But instragram and facebook are like bell-weathers of your normality they authenticate your participation in the new normal where relationships are founded on crafting an expectation for another person. Admittedly we do this normally, for things like work and sometimes school or family. But it doesn't seem normal to have to compete to such an extent to hold someone's interest.
