There's so much going on and I almost think it's easier for me to keep turning back to face it as best I can. I'm lucky to still have a job and I'm grateful for it. I'm so deeply humbled by the cries for equality that ring from the streets and so many songs. But please, head the voices of reason. It's not enough to sit down and sing some more blues. I'm not sure I can explain how much needs to be done, but, nothing I've heard suggested will entirely stave off anger of over a hundred years of suffering and oppression. Unless you let the world in and let it make a change inside you. But be careful, you might be one heart beat away from an epiphany that'll break your heart and crush your will to walk, make it hard to talk.
