Earlier in the year I'd have gone with demilitarizing but the more I read and the more I see, I'm basically agreed that reforming some departments may only be reformed by de-funding the police departments. There have been some pretty broadly exemplified worst-behavior police departments and I've stopped feeling uncomfortable arguing against abolishing their departments. But one part of my argument was that I didn't think abolishing would be possible - too many headaches, too many calls go through the police dispatch. In case it's difficult to picture, Camden is a case study in reforms following a disbanded police department. I remain banned from posting in the politics group without explanation. I apologize if this is completely uninteresting.
