Human Resources is the biggest road-block to getting a job JLab. The Computer Center didn't see my application for about a month after I applied (I didn't apply until the position was officially open to the public, but...). HR screens what they receive and sends it on to the appropriate department to do the dirty work. I called the HR contact I had every week during that month requesting an interview. She seemed a little agitated after a while... but I kept on anyway. Maybe she added a note to my file indicating that I had called four or five times requesting an interview. Maybe she had done all she could do and was waiting on someone else. Maybe she was slacking: I don't know. It's hard to say with these damn HR people.
Apply when something becomes available and call once a week thereafter. If you've already applied: start the calling part! Good luck.
Yeah: Philosophy in the Movies is alright. I'm taking it to satisfy a Writing Intensive requirement as well as finish up my minor. We watch the movies and discuss in class (I can't believe I pay mon ssssshhh: think of the degree), and work in groups of three to write movie reviews online (the class is completely paperless). The professor is outstanding. That's the core reason I took that class as opposed to another Philosophy class.
Are you taking anything you particularly like?
I like these pictures of you. They're very pretty. Thought you should know.
I go to CNU. Which is where i'm headed now at 8 in the morning. I HATE THOSE LITTLE TINY CARS !!!!! In the spaces that I shoud have..... or at least I thought I was going to have.

You have no idea how happy your little smily face comment meant to me. I've had a really rough day and I don't know...it was one of the only things that has made me smile. You seem really interesting. Feel free to leave a message or email me at LesGothicBeauty@yahoo.com...or IM me if you want.

Wow I can see you had fun! I hope that everything goes great with the internship. I like going to NY in the winter cuz its cooler but really it 's too cold in the winter so I dunno. Well I hope you had fun.
I really like the pics of you on the train track. But the ones where you're all tied up make me kinda sad for some reason. oh well i'm glad you had a good time in NY.
i dyed the top part of my hair copper... it looks sorta cool i guess. don't midn me, i just woke up about ten minutes ago and had three really aweful dreams.
i'll be off in nyc for the remainder of the week, so won't be online at all. it's a "family trip" sort of thing.. somewhat not tremendously looking forward to it, as it will most likely be awkward and tense, and for some reason my knee really really hurts and we'll be walking about a fair bit. c'est la vie.
ow. my nose is bleeding, but not enough to be a proper nose bleed. it still hurts though..
i went to walmart to pick up some padded envelopes [important package to ship out tomorrow.. ] and some yarn/tapestry needles [because i somehow misplaced mine..?], all of which would cost about $3.... and i walked out paying $26. curses walmart and impulse buying tendencies..
