So I just got done reading every single one of MIr's blog posts without blinking.
... okay so maybe I blinked, but I didn't noticeably blink okay!? Therefore it doesn't count! So there...
I haven't seen her in many many years and it was really really awesome to read and get the update. I think I went through the whole range of human emotion from beginning to end: hope, fear, joy, disdain, sadness, adventurous, and more that I can't describe because I don't have any words to fit the feeling... sometimes that happens. Her son now knows how to get "jiggy" with it, (Dr. Evil sounding style) and is undeniably cute! He reminds me of my little-little brother Logan when he was a baby. I would be trying to learn some Coal Chamber song in my room and my mom would have to go to the store or need a break and he would just sit on the bed, cock his head to the side and look at me like I had an ass for a face at first while I played along on my guitar and then he would get the vibe from the music I was playing and start to crawl towards me and then stop and do this rocking-wiggle thing. It was awesome! It makes me miss him a lot, according to my mom nowadays: basically she says that he is just like me when I was his age. Here's a picture of the little booger a couple of years ago:
and here's me, *Note: I am the kid with the cut off face, not the girl on the left, that's my cousin Jenna back in the days of yore:
I see no comparison! Although, I still act like a ten year old sometimes and have that quirkiness to me, but how else can I roll? I do what I wahngh...
Oh and it is a really nice day outside by the way, which is fucking insane. Maybe it's nicer because I feel more inspired but I just like how it's breezy and not hot as well... a desert?
I need to check out the limits for images on photobucket so I can upload the FREAKIN FANTASTIC photos I'm taking with my DSLR. I find myself attracted to photos that offer perspective. Like those one-point perspective drawings you drew as a kid of a road leading through the desert to a big city far far away. The camera has RAW capability so expect so see some photoshop arts, but in other news, there is this program called ArtRage for my mac that I am experimenting with and thus I will post whatever I come up with.
I am off to go do something we like to call "Elevator Drills." No, there aren't elevators here. I basically go to a flight line, watch the helicopter land, run on the helicopter, sit, the helicopter flies up into the air about 50 feet, then goes back down, I run off and run 300-600 meters to some building to "clear" it of "terrorists" and then run back to helicopter to do it all over again. This is we call: useless-training-my-company-has-to-come-up-with-so-it-doesn't-look-like-we're-sitting-around-on-our-asses-waiting-for-a-ride-back-to-the-states-BULLSHIT. I take it with a grain of salt though, because it does make the day go by faster at least. I want to take some night photos because seeing a helicopter up close is really fun, but the camera will probably get fucked up and it is an 800 dollar one that I would like to keep using into the future... which sucks... maybe one day when I feel daring...
So yeah, more updates tomorrow, DERE'S NOT ENOUGH TYEEEIME! I GOT TO GET TUUU DEE CHOOPAAAHH AND DO EET NAAOOWWWW YAAGHEEAAGHEAAGHEA!
lol
