It has been a dreadfully long time since I've offered any tribute to the beauties that inhabit this site. Through a pandemic that felt like a re-imagination of the Black Plague, anxieties and darkness plundered our hopes and dreams. Shadows loomed like vampires in the night and the full moon yearned for the madness of our lycanthropic howls. Our own ghosts haunted our homes as fear took our breath like a yet unclassified demon. We lived through our own penny dreadful and I, the author of this post, was not immune to the terrors of the night as the viral outbreak scarred my lungs and social anxiety disorder became the new normal. Even today as we slowly return to normalcy, my lungs bare the scars from a monster of yet unknown origin, my anxieties remain almost enigmatic in an H.P. Lovecraftian sense, and I remain a fraction of what once was a man of faith, love, and determination.
This author asks not for pity, but reveals the inspiration behind a return to form, an inspired post, a tributary of love to the gods for that which they've offered and the focal point herself. Prepare yourself for the spooky spectacular, the sordid sultry sultana of sexy, the one and only @penny.
Mixing the elegance of a vampire queen, the seductive qualities of darkness, the almost unbearable heat of fire from the underworld, and the vastness of mystery found in the ocean as blue as her eyes we are gifted a unique spirit. She is a woman of many talents and desirable by design, a feminine enigma revealing only that which we are worthy to receive whilst maintaining the mysteries of tomorrow. Confident, prideful, saccharine sweet, and a lover evermore, her raven tresses tangle with Sol's rays to divine an entrancing sheen to match the sparkling irises and unending pupils that adorn the prettiest of faces. Her sleek frame the garden's snake, begging us to take a bite of knowledge from the fruit she chooses to share, it's almost a sin to not deliver utter adoration upon knees of worship.
Don't rely on my words to deliver her truth, but instead take a peek into the world of Suicide Girls' own Edgar Allen Penny and feel the thump of her Tell Tale Heart.
Doll Face by @writeboy
What's black, white, and has splashes of red upon lingerie and lips? @penny's latest set by the ultra talented @writeboy. Her smooth milky white skin absorbs the warm glow of the sun as she sexily sinks into an ocean of white sheets. Her lips puffed with a pink hue whispering words of worship we repeat quietly to ourselves. Seraphs sing jealously over our adoration for the blackened tell tale heart that beats rhythmically bellow her petite tender bosom. If it weren't for her wit and wisdom, her own humble appreciation for this self-proclaimed poor man's Poe, I might believe Doll Face to be a symmetrically perfect beauty of my imagination, but alas she proved to be more woman than Pinocchio. Praise be to whichever god played Geppetto to this very real woman. Let's hope this set reaches SOTD status by week's end.
Tiger Queen by @coolicio
This Tiger Queen may roar loud and proud, but the heart inside that fierce feminine frame purrs like a kitten. It's not unusual to find this tigress adorned in black to match her panther colored tresses and ink, but unlike a shadow she stands out beautifully when surrounded by the earthen shades of green and brown. @coolicio captured perfectly the ferocity and sweet femininity that is @penny with some alluring emphasis on her curves. If the sweltering heat doesn't draw sweat, this set will surely drain your hydration to zero. Heels, bum, and bodacious bosom, a trifecta of indulgences studied with a sheen of glamour and appreciation of the artistry of the female form in mind. In truth, the variety of poses offer a unique peek when compared to all previous efforts. This set might even be the most bewitching of all if my heart's pace signifies anything at all.
Sailor Senshi Sleepover by @coolicio featuring @arachnie and @loulux
Sugar, spice, and everything nice. That might be the formula for the Powerpuff Girls, yet this Sailor Moon cosplay tribute shares many qualities with the dynamic trio. Although @loulux is the newest Suicide Girl of the three, she stands tall with confidence among the two established SGs as they sweetly seduce our hearts and minds with smiles and some... ehem... other activities. Even Sailor Scouts need a break from saving the day and spreading love. Maybe this is how they build up that love energy to share with the world, eh? It's a bright, beautiful, and curvalicious tribute to the anime. It's also the least goth of all sets to star our featured model. A nice variation of flavor to show the extent of her talent in front of the lens.
Roll Play by @caustix featuring @fresa @cygnet and [help me out here]
What could be better than Dungeons, Dragons, and Boobs? Seriously, combining the elements of fantasy with fantastic beauties such as these four women is a fantasy in itself. Today we can strike this dream off our bucket list and indulge in some rolling of dice, admiration of the female form, and nerd out to our heart's content. @caustix let the rainbow loose with this set as @cygnet's electric green hair, @fresa's perfectly plum sheen, and @penny's not-so-goth outfit splashed onto our PC screens and washed over our hearts. If only all of our game sessions ended with more bum and a little less bummer this world might feature more smiles equal to (my particular favorite) @fresa's. Though I do wish I could also attribute the awesomeness of this set to the fourth model sharing raven-tresses and equally sexy attitude, I hope someone finds it in their heart to help the author out and tag her right in here for me. I'm beginning to think this was a game of Spin the Dragon with the numeric die signifying the role to play once the enticing victim was chosen. Hmmm... it might make for a great party game?!
Clever Girls by @coolicio featuring @arachnie
Clever Girls is a colorful tribute to Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park (and the film). Though neither @arachnie nor @penny are as dangerous as any velociraptor in the film series, the two are certainly as clever as they are talented, beautiful, and inspiring. From Spooky Girl to Down Under Dame, @penny shows yet another facet of her talent modeling. Keeping her classic goth appeal and mixing it up with the colorful output of her fellow spider, the two sneakily seduce us while taking their time seducing one another. Lush greens, luscious curves, and a passion as fierce as a T-Rex, the set is a friendly romp perfectly matching @arachnie's sweet smile. It's easy enough to focus on the Mistress of the Dark after a small sampling of sets I'm sharing with you today, but the Aussie sweetheart featured here (and two other multis) is a reason in her own right to cherish this set. Strong-willed, confident, motherly, sexy, smart, and about a hundred other descriptive terms round out the magenta-haired maiden making her a dream woman worthy of admiration and praise. I'll take a moment (as should you) to say "cheers" and raise a glass of whatever it is you're drinking in celebration.
Dark Brew by @marysa
Dark Brew is the bitter bite of a strong coffee and it couldn't be a better fit for our resident Spooky Girl and her dark but perfectly sweet heart. This @marysa shot set is a simple take on the classic pinup with a focus on the sleek curvature of @penny's frame. Featuring soft shadows and plenty contrasting geometric designs within the kitchen, our featured model's athletic trim becomes tribute to the gentleness of femininity whilst also revealing the powerful grace behind every curve. An enchanting delight I can almost taste and smell as the coffee brews behind the scenes.
Pool Party by @cersei featuring @erloria @luxes @eveel @rosea @leelou @turmalina
This (mostly) French pool party brings the heat of Summer into our hearts as we experience every splash and french kiss in vibrant color. It's always a tough commentary to make when a set features so many gorgeous women as they turn up the heat to a combined temperature off the charts. I can already feel the water soaking through my shirt... unless that's just the nervous sweat of an admiring heart soaking up the sun, babes, bums, and bosoms. You don't have to take my word for it, dip your feet into this set and discover what a true multi is all about!
Morning Glory by @chinaski featuring @marlene
This set washes down like cotton candy and coffee as the sweet sensation @marlene dissolves on your tongue and @penny washes down the saccharine goodness with the perfect bitter bite. Although she has her own sweet streak as mentioned multiple times above, our raven-haired heroine remains the host, much like Elvira, to our darkest desires. Balancing perfectly the levels of love and lust, the passion unravels like heart strings tangled up in admiration as smiles unfurl from our professional models during their shoot. It's not the first time we've seen either model kindle a little fire between posing the flames, but when the chemistry ignites a spark so magnetic it would be a shame to waste the reaction on blind eyes. Simple, honest, and very much a @chinaski shoot, this set is one of many reasons my leave from Suicide Girls was so rough on the heart.

The set title seems to describe the set fairly well as an all out bums, bosoms, and babes dream come true. If overstimulation was such a thing, I might lay that claim upon this set because my heart can barely process the sheer amount of beauty contained in a two dimensional space. The love and admiration you share with this set is on you, dear reader, because this author is in need of a gallon of water.

Featuring an assortment of gorgeous ladies from around the world with different hair colors, styles, and choices of ink, it's the celebration of a lifetime that makes any of us wish we were 18 again (and had as many fetching friends). Grab yourself a slice of cake and let the sweetness overload your tongue because your heart is about to feel the sugar rush of a lifetime over a party you wish you had.

This set quickly turned me into one of @penny's biggest fanboys. As a huge fan of Deadpool, an admirer of the sexy manbeast that is Ryan Reynolds, and promoter of the song "X Gon' Give It To Ya" (because I often go by the name of Xander... which is legitimately my name) I can't help but fall in love with our resident Spooky Girl. Though I am sure she isn't quite as witty as our favorite antihero (sorry, love), she does have a heart that's equally big and can play the part of more than the typical goth girl given the right photographer and setting. Maybe red is her color when she's not drinking the blood of her victims instead of using lipstick like a normal person. Maybe Hello Kitty and unicorns are some of her favorite things. Maybe she has the same Cinemax hand as I do and shares an obsession with Bea Arthur! Ooooooohhh! Is any of this true? Ah, well, regardless of my new fantasies surrounding the dark haired goth and how this X was gon' give it to her... did I say that out loud? Did it come out sexually charged and kinda... well, uhm, I didn't quite mean it that way. I may be an idiot in love and have creepy baby hands and possibly other baby parts, but erase that image from your head unless it turns you on then you can imagine it a much as you like. Oh, wait, this was a tribute to @penny, right. Maximum effort and maximum love.

I don't often eat donuts nor have many friends, but when I do, I definitely imagine eating donuts this way with them. The sweet treat couldn't be better represented or more well rounded out in definition than by this set featuring two lovely, curvy and cute ladies. It may take a baker's dozen to equal the curves found in this set and twice that number to equal the honey-glazed hearts of the models, but when it comes to dessert nothing beats a beautiful friend (if one of those friends were either of these two). Cute, delightful, fun, and baked with love.

Starring a (mostly) Aussie cast of beautiful baewatch babes, this multi set put Pamela Anderson and crew to shame as the talented crew took to the waves to resuscitate a few hearts and give everyone reason to get a little sunshine in their lives. It remains one of my favorite multis, possibly because of it's Aussie origin and likely because @coolicio was behind the lens. My pale skin might blind these lovely lasses should I take to the beach myself so I might require a little sun before taking a plane to the land down under, but if this cast even marginally represents the beauty of Australia then I'm booking my ticket today! Now, if only there were slow motion videos to tag along with the set and a television deal to make this remake happen then most of us could die happy. Am I right? Maybe?! It's an amazing set featuring some of the best models Australia has to offer and, of course, our lovely spooky bae herself.
Are You Afraid Of The Dark? by @writeboy
"Are You Afraid of the Dark?" was one of the best shows to come out of the 90s. That might be a debatable opinion to many, but I never truly discovered real horror until later in the 90s. I grew up in a family that watched one too many action and comedy films so I only caught a few horror films from my sneaky but cute babysitters as a youth and attribute shows like Dark to my slow progression into the horror genre. In this case it was one of the best shows to teach me a little about the things that go bump in the night beyond Scooby Doo and other extremely kid friendly cartoons. Needless to say, this gentle nod to the series offers a sexy but fun tribute to (my) youth. It's simple, seductive, and a great Issue #0 tie in to @writeboy's latest set with the Spooky Seductress. This set is also another tease to see her in a full black and white set to really put the goth in black and see how the light dances in contrast. I would love to make that happen.
White Pony by @caustix
Hot damn if @penny isn't super sexy in this 2019 set. Looking like a seductively sweet bride of Dracula, this bewitching set rewrites Stairway to Heaven with a Bram Stoker twist. Descending the white pathway from heaven to our earthen domain, the seductress mesmerizes with her classy charm, blue eyes swirling with passion, legs the length of Elysium fields, her slender curves symmetric and writhing slowly like a snake approaching with apple in mind. The bright glow slowly beginning to wash her porcelain skin as the set reads to an end, the contrast of curves to the geometric design of the staircase and flooring, and the little nuances that add flavor to this set give it a special place in my heart.
Murder! At Sg Manor: Part 1 by @lady featuring @romany @apollo @skella @loveless @saturn @sarelle
I've covered this set numerous times in tribute to @lady and the various models featured in the two part series. I know there may be some new readers, but I think discovering my old blog posts and the two part series for yourself will be as much fun as the set title suggests. If you've ever experienced the game Clue or have been around Suicide Girls long enough then you already know what's in store so dive into the sets and tell me what you think!

When I was growing up there weren't many women that had interest in video games and most of my (female) friends now that play are significantly younger. I'm happy to see stereotypes broken and people of all ages playing video games whether it's VR on a PC or battling over who will wash the dishes with your mother in Smash Bros. This set may remind me of a youth I wish I experienced, but regardless of my youthful fantasies this set is still a smashingly sexy set. As you can see @writeboy and @penny have a pretty amazing history together themselves and sometimes they were even too sexy by Suicide Girl standards. Take a peek into this console and you'll see it was Seductive Smash Sisters they attempted to play before feminine wiles distracted them to push a few other buttons instead. Still one of the hottest, most tantalizing sets to date on the site.
What Happens In Vegas by @cdo
What Happen in Vegas clearly makes it's way onto Suicide Girls and we couldn't be luckier than we are with this very set. One of the more colorful and brightly lit sets in @penny's catalogue sheds the goth appeal for something a little more flashy and colorful. While retaining some of that gothic attitude, the set takes a few gambles with the glitz and glam of a city that shines so bright it never seems to be night and it plays out with a full house. I'll admit it's not among my favorites of the Goth Queen's to appear on the site, but that's neither fault of photographer or model as it's an exquisite set and her pale figure couldn't look sexier in pale pink lingerie. I enjoy the lights and busy streets of a big city now and then, but I find a little more joy in the quietness of solitude. That may even reveal a bigger admiration for solo sets in comparison to multis, but then again this is akin to saying there's a bad cheese. They're all delicious, but a few happen to taste better in a toasted cheese sandwich. This set deserves it's place as SOTD and I'm proud to include it in this big list of (mostly or soon to be) SOTD sets.
Whistle Blower by @smashbase
Among the many photographers I have missed in my absence this past year @smashbase was surely one of them. Feeling a little like an indirect sequel to @lady's Velveteen, this set brings the goth back into the soft velveteen fold of the prior set with equally beautiful results. I don't prefer one set over the other as I don't prefer marshmallow, dark chocolate, or graham cracker when making a s'more because they all come together to make one delightful treat. Whistle Blower keeps things simple and honest, it's an enchanting introduction to a career that would see @penny as one of the top models in recent years on SG. It's a set that remains in heart even as new sets release months and years down the line.
Velveteen by @lady
Velveteen introduced the elegance of a Queen in Gothic Queen and remains one of the best sets to show off her royal bloodline. Our resident Spooky Girl delivered a confident effort that would echo in all future sets as she wore her velveteen bodysuit like it were her own skin. Although she shed the deep magenta suit to reveal the black ink of her tattoos and petite curves of youthful and powerful woman, she owned every pose in and out of her clothing without skipping a heartbeat. I might rename the set Vampire Queen years after getting to know her better, but the original title remains a perfect description of heart, desire, and the entirety of the set. A fantastic set worthy of the numbers it's earned in a short time all the way through today.
The Dark Side by @writeboy
I won't fanboy on this set while wearing my own Empire Strikes Back shirt because this photo taken from the set explains it all. This is the @penny behind the Penny we see in most of her sets as the professional model, absolutely stunning with her Spooky Girl tattoo all but proclaiming the crown as Queen Goth. This is the woman that offered me a kyber crystal to ignite my own lightsaber of interest. She began right around here (or at least this was when I had discovered her) and ever since my fascination would grow like Anakin without the whiny attitude or anger that actually led him to the dark side. Her humble beginnings earned her a SOTD with a photographer that would help earn her many more accolades and endless appreciation. The Dark Side felt like the right side.
I must conclude this appreciation post as I've been distracted enough today through the writing of this post and even accidentally published it halfway through the 20+ sets I intended on covering. I hope that most of you have developed the same appreciation as I have or intend on joining the dark side so that you find yourselves by our side.
I can't say enough great things about Penny nor describe her heart in a way that would offer you the same appreciation as your own immersion into her world, but I can say that she is an amazing, talented, and beautiful woman that approaches everything with a smile and positive attitude. She went from model to photographer and conquered a whole lot between the scenes that, honestly, might not matter to us as fans or admirers, but every little accomplishment she's made inside and outside of SG has reflected on her character and gave her a light through which she shares with us today.
Endless love and appreciation to you, my dear Spooky Girl.
