Back in 1963 Harvey Ball created the smiley face which would later spawn the emoji rage we see abundantly across social media platforms everywhere this very day. In honor of this particular World Smile Day I wanted to dedicate a brief blog to the very delightful @fresa. She's been flashing that smile on here for around 5 years now and with thousands of followers across her social media platforms she's been able to reach every corner of the globe and spread that infectiously groovy smile with panache. I know many of us see her as this heavenly body granted upon our meager souls to give reason to believe in a higher power for the loving grace gifted, but she's as down to earth and humble as can be. Even behind a smile like that is a person just as you and I that lives, breathes, and has some downright shite days because life is, admittedly, not fair.
Would you think that way about her the way she gleams her smiles as if life were a cotton candy dream that would eventually make us fat and immobile joyous humans balls from all that sugar? Hah! Half joking aside about the cotton candy sugar rush, she does spread the joy she sees and feels not just because her day went right at that very moment but because she knows deep in her heart that it's something we all need and what good is a beautiful smile if no one ever gets to see it? We're all born with the ability to smile and she just wants to keep our facial muscles at proper strength so we don't atrophy into grumpy old coots yelling at kids chasing their dogs across our front lawns.
I said it would be brief, so I'm going to just go ahead and share some of these delectable grimaces that inspire me daily and hope they do the same for you today and forevermore. I'll love her until the end of time for the light that she's shared and hope one day I might repay with something a bit more than a thank you. I already know she'd humbly accept those words and consider us even, but even astronauts require a little fuel to make it to the heavens. Love gives them the confidence and motivation, but a little bit of juice stuffed into their rocket makes it happen and I do love you to the moon and back, my friend. Ride or die, you've given me more than I ever hoped to find within this community and I'd be honored to feel that wind through my hair by your side as the adventure begins with the turn of the ignition and a bit of a push into the sunset.

She might not be smiling in every photo posted in this blog, but if you ever dropped by to see her activity/selfies you would surely see a smashing amount of smiles so don't hesitate to visit her and gather a few more for your mental collection. This is, after all, a post dedicated to her and she's had a lot of beautiful sets shot by some really wonderful photographers I admire greatly so it wouldn't have been right to not share them with you today. You will be smiling a lot more once you take a few moments of your time to view these wonderful little stories in visual form.
Also, take a look into those eyes and tell me how you can't possibly be in love! This one is for you, @fresa, and for everyone that needs a smile to get through the day. I try to bring the smiles when I can, offer all the love my heart will allow, but I'm not the only one that dedicated her heart not just to taking some really beautiful photos for you to enjoy but also to being one of the most wonderful building blocks in this community and making sure everyone was taken care of and smiling just as big.
I hope your days are bright, my friends. May smiles happen upon you and may you share yours with the world to keep the light shining in every corner of the world. Shadows are exactly that, the troubles we leave behind as the light before us leads the way like a lighthouse bringing sailors home during dark and stormy nights. Don't bother seeing where you're shadows has been because life (and love) is right in front of you and waiting for you to take a step forward.
