Everyone keep your fingers crossed... My boxer had emergency surgery last night. When we took her to get fixed, the vet said that she had no ovaries or a uterus... Weird, he said he had only seen it once before in his whole career. So then he told us to watch and see if she goes into heat than that means that she does have ovaries, but they are prematurely grown, and he'll have to go back in there... Well I made Paulie take her to the vet yesterday because she had a scab behind her ear and it looked funny (yeah I know I am anal). Turns out that she went into heat at the dr.'s office. What are the odds. So they were going to do emergency surgery to get them out. So bizarre. So my poor little girl is in the hospital and we miss her... She may even have to stay tonight too. Oh and the scab was a fungus that they get from playing outside, um yuck, that gives me goosebumps...
