Out of sheer boredom I may start reviewing the shows I go to again, here a quick one with bad phone camera pictures.
In the line some guy was handing out Download flyers with genuine distaste for the fact, every time he gave one out he said Fake Rap and when one guy refused to take one he congratulated him. Saw this piece of graffiti in the toilets
Lysergiks: So seventies it hurt, no really
Couldnt help but get distracted by the bass players knee high boots, tight pinstripe trousers showing off his bulge and crushed velvet neckerchief are you fucking kidding? They werent bad, just boring.
Firebird: Hey, Lysergiks, I think this is what you were aiming for. Last time I saw them they blew Alabama Thunderpussy off stage. Red hot blues rock.
Church Of Misery: A slightly more reserved set compared to Roadburn. Hideki seems to like going up to people with long hair in the front row, hugging their heads and letting them scream into the mic, not actually singing along, just screaming at random points. Played mostly stuff of the new album (not complaining) but they threw in some old favourites like Candy Man, Killfornia and I, Motherfucker.
At the end of the show security had closed off the front part of the venue and made people leave from the Fire exit near the stage, the reason being
there was a fire outside.

takeahnase:
Church of Misery? Well, colour me jealous. But yeah, Firebird were shit hot with ATP when I saw them too. Got any other shows lined up?
takeahnase:
Haha good stuff. Such as? I think all I have is Tori Amos, Massive Attack and Yo La Tengo, maybe Growing and Earthless as well though.
