Thursday: Got up early to go to Aylesford, Admit youre Shit album and Fear Of Fear ep came through the post from Mortarhate, left the house for Strood station. When the train got to Cuxton this guy covered with fucked up scabs on his arms got on holding a tobacco tin and part of a door handle mechanism, my first thought that he was a junkie. He sat a seat across from me and started flicking the part of the door handle and starring at this black kid with burning intensity, thankfully he got off after one stop. Got into Aylesford too early so I had a walk around for twenty minutes to see what was there, not a lot, found a business park with big stores like Homebase, Sainsburys Comet and BHS but not a lot else. Had trouble finding reception at the Royal British Legion Industries village but I found it in time to still be early. Interview lasted over an hour and was told that I start the course on the week Im meant to sign on next and I should have a word with Fiona when I get home. Went to Sainsburys, got a salad and a couple of drinks which I ate and drank on my way back to the train station, had to run when I saw my train pull into the station as I was walking up the road to it. Got home and called Fiona and arranged to go in next Thursday to sign some forms so I could be exempt from signing on for the two months Im on the course.
Friday: Even though the show I was going to in London the next day had been cancelled I still did my shopping in Chatham as I had nothing to eat that night. Coming back I took the bus to Lilac Road as there have been some builders working in one of the front gardens of the people on my road and I didnt want to walk past with all the dust flying around. Now the builders werent working that day but by sheer dumb luck I did manage to avoid a group of Chavs that I would have walked straight into if I had got off at my normal stop. Got to the Tap about quarter to seven and waited around for everyone one else. Chris and Mills got there around eight, Zak was already in the garden but I just didnt notice him. Hung about in the garden talking bollocks with Chris complaining that he wished he was in the Manor. Heard some great news that it could be Tyns last night if he didnt get a completely full dance floor (with this heat, hardly anyone would be thinking of dancing). Walked around, talked to random people until top floor opened, before Tyn went on they had Fubars mate Paul playing Rock music (Im guessing hes already been picked as Tyns replacement, and he was doing a much better job than him), it was funny to see Tyn go on next looking so worried. That fat, annoying girl that Steve knows, Laura, kicked me to get my attention then complained that I didnt make enough fuss over her, then made Chris say that he missed her, even though he didnt remember her, couldnt help thinking that if I put in enough effort I could shag her but then she might think that I liked her and how desperate am I? Ollie and others came from the Manor and we all hung around until ten to one when Chris and Zak were getting a lift home, Mills had already left and I was hungry. Got some chips and a taxi home.
