Friday: Didnt sleep very well so I wound up walking around in a fatigue not really knowing what I was doing. Walked into Sounds Perfect bought a Low CD and a couple of Urban Fox books, stuck around for a little while but no one there was talking that much so I got the bus to Morrisons and did a bit of shopping. Found out later that Mills wasnt going to the manor because his Black Metal mates were going to the Command House because some bands were playing and Nick (the dude who looks like Mumra from Thudercats) was DJing so I asked if I could tag along as I could really face going to the Manor and explaining why I couldnt DJ on Christmas/New Years. Got to the Command House, found a quiet corner to read, Amy came along to say high, then some really loud Northern blokes came over to use the pool table so I went to the bar to get away from them then Mills arrived. Went downstairs to see the bands, talked to Geoffs girlfriend, she asked if I was going to any gigs and if I wanted company because she felt bad the last time she saw me at a gig and I went off by myself, I explained that I tend to do that on purpose because I realise that I can be a burden to put up with because Im Autistic and I dont talk much, she said she didnt think of me as a burden at all and shes told Geoff that shes probably going to marry me one day (that isnt a weird thing to say to anybody at all). So Sky Came Falling (Geoff and Guys new band) came on, they were alright, had trouble getting over the singers sideburns (as soon as I saw him I said to Mills Look, its the dude from Trivium). Charlie came over to say hello and that she recognised me from Myspace, then Mills took the piss out of me for being a Myspace whore (Wheres your eyeliner, wheres your girls trousers, why isnt your hair covering one eye). New Breed came on and they were like a combination of every band I find catchy and annoying at the same time (Mills commented later that they took their shirts off, yet its the middle of winter and there wasnt any sweat on them), apparently they have a video on some of the digital rock channels. Had a laugh at the expense of the forty year old Goth woman when she saw a guy with CAT written on his hoodie, she has an obsession with cats (in fact I noticed all her bad cat tattoos on her shoulder that night) she went up to him and started talking about how much she likes cats (I remember the last time we all hung out with Mills Black Metal mates and she started showing people the pictures of her cat she keeps with her at all times). til Thy Dying Day came on, they werent too bad but they were all that good either so we left half way through the first song and went to the Tap. The bouncer on the door asked me to open my backpack and saw my copy of Existentialism & Humanism by Sartre and recommended me another French philosopher (name begging with F that I cant remember now). Got at ticket for Fubars Metal night on Tuesday, asked him if it was becoming a regular thing and if he thought that maybe if they put up some posters round the Tap they might get a better turn out, he said it looked that way and it wasnt up to him whether they advertise it or not (I think I might raise that up on the Taps message board). So walked around Tap bumped into random people (Gay Phil, Dave White, strange attractive, drunk Indie girls) watched Mills send abusive texts to Chris and talked about beating up the guy with IM AN UNDER GROUND HERO written on the back of his jacket (he had a really bad expensive looking haircut too, one side of the back had a big chunk missing to other had like a strand of mullet thing, he looked like a gay redneck) then went over to the kebab for some chips and got a taxi home.
