Too bad about your terrier. I guess people just don't know better. What was their reason for getting it from a breeder anyway? [my brother's was pretty lame; he looked at the boxers on petfinder and at the boxer rescue and determined that none of them really had that boxer look he liked. And then, of course, lots of half-baked rationalizations about "temperament" etc...

yeah. I hate this computer too. It's ugly and takes up too much of my desk. I like my mac laptop much better. But it's too small to work on all the time. Tony Robbins? What's up with him? Did you do some firewalking seminar or something?

Hey Finch. It was too hot. I'm complaining too. The tofu rosemary and garlic sound great; I'm going try that this weekend! How's the house hunt going anyway?

I never got to the tofu rosemary because I was out of town! In fact, don't tell anyone on the veg group, but I actually had a lapse and cooked lambburgers for my boyfriends' parents. Although I feel strongly about being a vegetarian, I also feel awkward about imposing my beliefs on the habits of other people. I do, however, try to convert my own family and think I am succeeding. How long have you been a vegetarian anyway? Is your family vegetarian? Mortgate rates are only going up from here, at least that's what Greenspan says. But they say that housing prices will plateau or drop a bit. So, maybe it would be a good thing for you to wait. Looking for houses is exhausting!

The marinated Tofu Steaks sound great. What do you put in the marinade besides soy sauce? Good luck buying a house or condo now. The market is crazy around here (I live in Pasadena too). If you haven't already, you might look on realtor.com It doesn't get you the newest listings, but it does give you a sense of what's out there.

lemon sounds delish. What texture tofu do you like (soft/firm?). Do you press the water out of it before marinating it? Houses: Have you checked out Sunland/Tujunga? It's not so far east and its much less expensive than pasadena etc...
