History came back to poke me in the ribs today.
I checked my email, and all of a sudden I'm reading a note from an ex-girlfriend.
The way things ended with her, I figured I'd never hear word one from her. I figured her for one of the many people who have disappeared from my life into the ether, but apparently she's alive, and actually happy (or at least getting there) which I consider a major feat for her.
Sounds a tad callous I suppose, but you had to have been there.
I dunno, I guess it just shocked me. Most people that I've pissed off or left have never really reappeared.

Side note: Friday was awesome. I so totally love chilling with cool people, having a good meal, getting drunk, wandering around downtown. Makes for an oddly good time. SGLA kicks ass.
