Well, today is the last day of Ben and mines goodwill tour of the New England states, ok just his folks in Cape Cod and mine in CT but it _was_ a lot of driving. We'll be heading back to Boston around 3 pm today if all goes according to plan..
Our time with his family was a blast, despite the overriding purpose of our visit, the death of his grandfather (71 years old, fucking lung cancer) And I thought we had become hopeless homebodies _before_ we left Boston.....
I suppose being happy to have dinner at your boyfriends nana's house and renting a movie every single night for a week is either the ultimate sign of true love or the first stages of insanity....
Out time here in CT has been decidedly shorter and if only by a tiny bit, more pleasant, my mother and i cooked dinner for the family for the first time since forever at the house last night.
As I write this, the door has just rung and holy fucking shit, for the first time in my 25 years living in this house in the woods, in fucking Greenwich, CT, where people spend mroe time at the county club than their local church, JEHOVAH"S WITNESSES!!!!!!!! In pearls and a sweater set! Driving a fucking Audi wagon! I was so excited/shocked I just ran up and walked in on Ben in the shower to tell him!!! Man they are everywhere now, arent they??
I should have just answered the door in my nightie, that would have let the bitch know this is a house of ill repute or something....
