For my birthday, which is March first, I am selling my car and buying a motorcycle!!!! I like the style of the honda nighthawk and also the rebel. Any suggestions for bikes like that or anything else is welcome, I would appreciate it. I am also in the market for buying a mountain bike for the winter.

Look for something older and Japanese. Reliability is always good and the old Honda, kawisaki, yamaha etc. have lower seats which are better for new riders and (typically) shorter women... and men I suppose. you really do not need anything over a 500CC bike and even a 250 will cruise good on the highway. I live in Denver and have a couple Triumphs (1979 and a 2007 Bonneville) and both will take me anywhere. Happy Birthday in advance.
