So, I hit up Imperial Bowl today and then Peak Six, and did some Backcountry Skiing. It was a beautiful blue bird day, and the snow and powder was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better day.
We are expected to get about 12 inches of snow over night which is on top of about the 3 feet we have recieved since Friday, and we are expecting another 2 feet by Friday.
It's nice and the powder is fresh, but the windload is dangerous because the wind is blowing above the timberline at about 70 miles an hour, so avalanche danger is extremely high.
For those of you who do not know about Breckenridge Colorado, we have the highest peak in the nation for skiing which is at 13,667 and 14,000. It's nice to live 3 miles above sea level and see all the tourists get sick when they come in to town and can't handle the altitude.
I love you all and hope all remains well.
