interesting question.
I've never written about a bed before but I have this crazy image locked in my head of this wish coiling uplike the roots of a tree through the matress and I really like it.
Beds.... My sleep is really broken up right now because of a shoulder injury. Everytime I roll over it jars me awake so I have to lay in one or two positions all night.... maybe that's it? I think beds are a place of reckoning. It's one place I gear down and have time to think (if I don't fall asleep first). Also, it's an Asian tradition (Chinese?) to put a New Year's wish under your bed for the year...... where on earth did I read that? Hmmmm...... I'm a big into layered metaphors and multiple meanings in all my artistic work.
Good question. I never post this long. Haha!
