I'm taking the day off from running today and will pick it up tomorrow.
The marathon that I am training for is on July 30th and it is a full 26 miles. It will be the furthest I have ever run. Next to this, I have run a 17 miler, but never a full marathon. As you can all probably tell from my pics, I don't have a typical runners build, so it is going to be a long and painful next 60 days or training. Wish me luck.
I should be able to find out sometime next week about my eligibility to study abroad in Australia. I meet and exceed the GPA, as my current GPA is 3.91 and they only require a 3.0, but I am concerned about the $13,000 cost. If my GI Bill doesn't cover it, then there is no way that I can go. If I don't go then I may consider transferring to a school on the West Coast to finish my degrees. I have a really bad habit of not being able to stay in one place for an extended period of time. I feel like there is too much to see in the world to stay in one location.
So with that, I leave you with some pics.
