I'm sorry. I went through the same thing a couple of years ago with my grandmother. It sucks. The emotion becomes like a scab. You can't stop picking at it. Eventually though you get through it.

Both my grandmothers passed in the last 2 years, nearly 3 now. Both had been sick for a long time, and had been barely hanging on. I find comfort in that their pain has ended, and that they're in a better place now, with my grandfathers, both of whom I never met.
