So last night, I watched a woman die and then come back from death. That's te first time I've experienced that. I think that may be my most humbling moment. It was just a clusterfuck of a call. She was awakee, and talking to us, just real weak and sweaty and cold, then she stopped talking and that was that. We did our stuff (intubated her, asystole drugs, etc) and when we put her on the bed at the hospital, she had electrical activity in her heart, and about 30 seconds later she had a pulse. Not just any shitty post-resuscitation pulse, I'm talkin about a pulse at 140bpm with a good pressure. That's enuff psuedo-shop talk.....
ugh..tiring...physically, but mostly mentally....

uhhh...she's in intensive care. She had a huge heart attack and, as of last night(which was equally as tiring) she is maxed out on a lot of the drugs that are keeping her alive....
