i thought i actually found a cool job as a freelance illustrator for this new music magazine in san francisco...turns out that my first project is to draw winona ryder...except they arent going to pay me. i was like what the hell. i have school and rent to pay for. getting freelance jobs right now sucks. they dont pay for shit, and the work is too sporadic. i do like one illustration every 3 months, yay. all the good illustration jobs require a bachelors or like 3 years exp. in the field. i have no retail exp. so that gets rid of most of the other jobs ive been trying to get. i guess thats what happens for being honest on my resume. grrrr >:|...i need to work on a cover idea for this new comic. elaras sets have been a great inspiration!
