So I've found myself in a pickle as some would say. A girl I haven't talked to in ten months texted me the other week and we've been corresponding since then. I have talked about how I am tired of going on dates, being a complete southern gentleman and pulling all the stops only to have my date be completely glued to their smartphone, inactive in a conversation or uninterested, etc., and then say that everything went extremely well and we should do it again. I told her that I feel like a meal ticket if anything else. She agreed and boost about how she isn't like them other ladies.
Well, we talked about meeting up tonight and I simply said that it would cost a certain amount should we split the cost. She was taken back by that and went on a wild rant about how that is not proper etiquette and that it should be up to her to decide if she want to split the cost or not. Completely shuned me and told me to have a good night.
Am I wrong to request this? I mean, I was most likely going to pay for everything as I normally do but I wanted to use the advice from my lady friends on finding that "right" lady for me.
Oh, well...back to drawing and painting.
