Follow through is supposed to be good right? Yeah, well sometimes that shit doesn't work out. It just doesn't. Not my main point for the following anecdotal misadventure.

So I have this crush. I think she's pretty neat. So, flash of inspiration, call her this morning and leave a pleasant little voicemail before she goes to work. Why should this work? She leaves her phone on silent at night, so I could call at oh, say 2am and she'll get it when she wakes.

Not sure how many times I talked myself out of doing this, but then I decided that I don't follow through on enough things. I went for it. She answered. Not cool. 2 fuckin' thirty in the morning. Feel like a horse's ass? Yeah, maybe I did a little.

That went horribly wrong. I don't even like leaving voicemails in the first place. I apologized profusely later. Turns out she forgot to put it on silent this morning. Just my luck. Totally didn't win any points at all on this one. Definitely not trying this shit again. Thoughtfulness doesn't pay.
