Surprisingly enough, DarKPrincess has not seen fit to dump me, yet. 
I've actually proposed several times since the 6th of last month and she continues to say 'Yes.' Yes is a good word.
Been pretty busy since my last real update...
DP and I went to Edgefest on the 18th, was a fun time, hot as hell.
Met up with a couple of SG folks there. In addition to meeting Barry Manalow:
Despite our weariness, we left from Edgefest to check out Sanitarium III at The Church. DP looked great:
We had a great time there, ran them out of Jager. God, I think we were ummm up until about 4 am, and I had to work the next day. Dohhh... Monday was seriously rough... Oh well, sleep plenty when I'm dead, eh? 
The 24th was Austin's b-day party. He actually turned 3 on the 30th, but we had the party a bit early. He had an army theme, so everyone was in camo and such. Bakeryman made him an incredible tank cake.
DallasGrl22 made a breif appearance. It was amazingly hot for an outdoor party, but Austin had a good time and made out pretty well on presents and such, so I suppose that's all that really matters.
The 28th was DarKPrincess's b-day, she got some cool stuff. We lucked into a sitter for Austin, so we tried to go out and do something. That turned into a bust so we just went home. We made up for it on the 1st, though, which was the planned party anyway.
The Cadaver Cabaret didn't quite turn out like expected, but it was awesome. We had our own VIP room to hang out in, between bands and to store our cooler and whatnot. We were also able to get back stage and meet some of the band members. We all got pretty toasty, but the real fun was after the show. Those of you who didn't make it, really missed something. Man, I'm not sure what time DP and I got to bed, but I pretty much had to carry her to bed. But hey, if you can't get blasted on your b-day, when can you? One of the bands we hung out with it turns out was needed a keyboard player. DarKPrincess is working on learning their songs now, and will likely be playing with the band, soon. Stay tuned for details on that.
DarKPrincess and Austin have moved in with me, that seems to be working pretty well, though we are still figuring out how to live with each other. I think it's been a long time since DarKPrincess has shared a space and I tend to crowd her, but I think we'll be OK.
Last night we decided to have a little romantic pinic in our backyard. A romantic picnic should include candles, right? Yeah... Not on windy night.
A small blanket/grass fire was created. I thought everything was cool, but DarKPrincess walked out and busted me stamping out the blaze with my flip flops. 
A new blanket and lack of candles saved the night. It was really good to get away from the world, just her and me for a few mintues.
Tommorrow, Cicatrix and I will be heading out to the AAC to check out our seats for the Stars next season. That should be really cool. Can't wait for hockey to resume.
I continue to neglect my SG friends, but unfortunately that's not the only area of my life I'm neglecting. My finances are in very sad shape. My house needs attention. Work continues to suck hard, and I'm finding less motivation to do anything at all while I'm here.
So many aspects of my life seem to be falling apart. My fence in my yard continues to need repair. My house is in dire need of organization. My dishwasher hasn't worked for weeks. My laptop died. My server has been dead. I destroyed another wheel on my car, ended up having to replace all 4 wheels and tires. My bike is acting up. I'm losing touch with most of my friends. My sister needs my help and I don't think I'm in a postion to help her.
Worst part is that I have been taking my frustrations out on DarKPrincess. I've done and said a lot of things I'm not proud of. She continues to be patient with me, but I know I've been on a very dangeous path. I've allowed my imagination and emotional baggage to get in the way of a realtionship with the perfect woman for me. I've resolved to be a better man, and trust her the way she trusts me.
I love you, DarKPrincess. Thanks for being you, allowing me to be me, and being you with me.
