Well, I guess it's official. I'm really a stay at home dad now. I lost my job last December and I haven't found anything to replace it. My wife really stepped up and went from part time to full at her job. She's an RN so for her part time is 2 days a week and full time is 3. And we are making the ends meet!
I'm really conflicted though. Since we've known each other I had my career and she had hers. When the kids were born, we decided that we didn't want to put our kids in daycare. Our boys weren't surprises or accidents. So we struggled for years to juggle everything. I worked days. She worked nights. We made it work.
Now that I'm home, our stress levels have dropped drastically. My wife is the bread winner and my job now is to support her by taking care of these babies and the house. I still feel like I should be bringing in some income though. Like I'm not contributing enough.

Things aren't bad really. I just hope I'm doing enough to keep up my end.
