Every now and then the annoying MSN Today news thingy that pops up with MSN Messenger actually shows me something that could be mildly interesting. Indeed today it did not fail. This article about English words that aren't really in use anymore. I love stuff like this, flowery language from our past: Here's the words I ripped out of the article for your enjoyment:

A...

Urinator: a diver; one who searches under water.

Right, despite that hiccup, I'm back on track with my PMA.

Had a couple of shitty days at work this week, but luckily over the years I have trained myself to be fairly laid back most of the time, and let stuff wash over me. Even if something does start to wind me up I can get over it pretty quick. Only exception is trouble...

haha. Shamrocks and Guinness! I know what you mean though! See normally i'd be the grog-swilling, table-pounding, today would be a good day to die, warrior drink types! The main concern during contests is logistics. Beer makes you piss like a racehorse quickly, but spirits give you staying power. I might change to Jager though...

Hey dude, I think Golf is gonna be next weekend now, cos I am sooo busy.

I like the bogling, very cool indeed sir!

On topic of cheap CD's,
http://www.heavymetalrecords.co.uk/new/home.asp

These guys are based in Wolverhampton and seem to be priced around 10 ish, so not sure if they are what your looking for. They are a metal stockist and have some unusual stuff too.

Trying to keep a positive attitude these last few days.

This weekend put me on a bit of a downer for some reason. I think it was because I got up to virtually fuck all and barely got to see my friends who are really important to me (I got a real bad lonely feeling this weekend). I did go and watch District 9, which...

I'm ill. But hey, a day off work is always good.

Our last gerbil died the other day. Her name was Squirrel (I always thought she looked a bit like a squirrel) and she was pretty old. We're guessing about 3 years, which is pretty good going for a gerbil I believe. I never knew creatures actually die, rolled over with their legs in the...

I have returned. Battles were fought. My wounds are slowly healing. My fallen comrade has been put to rest in the swamp for eternity.

That's right. I'm back from my LARP weekend! This event was called The Gathering and it's run by The Lorien Trust. We had a great time, got into a good few scraps and had plenty of laughs along the way....

Good day, chaps and chappettes. How are we all today? Rather spiffing I hope?

Was a bit quiet blog wise over the last few days. Couldn't get to a PC to harass you all with my tales of nonsense. Will be VERY quiet this weekend as I will be away near Derby......... LARPing. That's right LARPing. Where a load of people camp in a massive...

Thanks! I sort of enjoy spewing all the verbal crap of my week!

It's weird isn't it! The interesting girl, brain evaporation ray! I always make plans to be the cool, collected stranger but it always gets the better of me! I know there's no point in freaking about it afterwards, but you know the way you start thinking of how stupid your voice sounds and everything.

It'll be my first one yep. The designs are a standard template i think. I'm rubbish at art and i thought it just really looked cool. Also i LOVE the Dark Tower series biggrin

Have an awesome time sweetie!! I'm jealous....still, at least i get to go 'normal' camping soon biggrin xx

YEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! Weekend!

Its been a tough week at work, but lets not dwell on the crap. Time for "Good Things of the Week" round up.

1. Space Hulk is back!
Time to geek it up, sumbitches! Pre-ordered 2 copies for myself and my mate. Never played it the first time around. Should be fun.

2. Got physical. Did lots of walking in the woods, weights,...

Following on a conversation I've been having recently, we come to the topic of bad tattoos.

I'm really interested as to whether people ever get intentionally bad tattoos for a joke. Not interested enough to go out and do a survey, but hey ho. Is there a business opportunity there? I've got some designs in my head I may very well draw up soon for...

(Pretend I posted this yesterday when I actually wrote it smile )

Chicken Chow Mein duly scarfed for dinner.

Had trouble focusing at work today, my brain wasn't co-operating (this is a regular occurrence). found myself scanning YouTube for music to sooth me (Id be using LastFM but it doesn't work on the PCs in my office, damn and blast). My typical metal just added to...

Hey new friend, I find that listening to half an hour of droney doom usually relaxes me down to a more intense level than classical music does. As long as it's something without vocals. And I must try going out with a bulge mustn't I, hadn't thought of that before, maybe to a metal gig or maybe somewhere full of women? I did try stuffing one boob so one looks bigger than the other but I think I need to bandage the other one so that it can't be seen.
I've posted a new blog about yesterday's excursion to the tatt studio- I'm getting it done by Mr. X at Into You (his stuff is on www.duncanx.com ). The little device I spotted at the museum was a scarificator (a 17/18th century blood letting instrument) so it's important for me to have it on the wrist, close to my heart. The design i'm getting is the fictional rendition of what I saw where i've rearranged the levers and modified the main one so ithe main lever now looks like a creepy mechanical phallic-finger emerging from a wooden box... This place in Brighton sounds very cool, there seem to be some interesting little tatt shops over there. Mr. X's stuff is quite a bit different to them; his stuff ranges from the "deliberately bad" look, (I think he's inked kids' drawings in the past) to some striking pieces reminiscent of wood cuts- he doesn't create a kind of airbrushed look, rather he creates tone by building up lots of lines. I just felt woodcut suited what I wanted for my dear little wrist (of course being such a small piece mine will be made up of much finer lines than what he usually does). I might seriously consider that Ade though for the next tattoo in line which I've already designed- his soft delicate watercolour style would definately suit that one. Just realised i've basically continued my own blog into yours tongue

yay! thank you for my little warrioir biggrin haha, as soon as i read the word scarfed i knew you were from the uk!

So far so good.

Had a nice relaxing evening last night. Started work on some tattoo designs. One design is 90% finished and might be a possible for my right forearm. Its a pretty simple design using mostly black and reds. I'll hopefully get some pics up soon. Also thinking about getting the Terminator Honours badge on of my legs, reckon it could look fairly...

I'm also working on a tattoo design by the way. I'm taking it to the tattoo studio tomorrow. I'm hoping they won't tell me it's not possible to get done. Do you know which tattooist you're taking yours to?
