all my posts have been about bad things that happned to me. This one is the worst though.
My nana has been in the hospital for 7 days now. she went in because she had penumonia which turned into an infection that caused swelling of the bladder. Today she went in for emergency surgery. her colon was so full that it was tearing and if it ruptured then she would have died. She went in for the surgery at 16:30. The doctors said she had less than a 50/50% chance of living. I didnt get to see her before she went for the surgery.
She was out of surgery at 18:30 they removed her colon. I got to see her at 19:00, she was sleeping but i knew she could here me... i didnt know what to say to her, so i started to talk about my new house (moved in Nov) and how she is going to have to come and have dinner and how steve and i would love to have her paint something for our living room. she paints with oil, and does beautiful landscapes.
shes not out of the woods yet though, she has to make it through the 1st 24 hours then she should be fine.

I'm sure she appreciates just the fact that you're there to give her support, which is always something that is difficult to do.
