Friday was FUCKED. I went to see Drown Mary for the first time since they got signed and what happened? A huge fight broke out.
Brady got fucked up...I felt super bad.
Heres how it went....
So, the show started out fine with a few metal and hardcore bands...everything seemed to be ok until Drown Mary took the stage.
At first Drown Marys set was going good, and then I see Eric (lead singer of Drown Mary) yelling at some guy. Eric decides to jump off the stage and a small fight proceeds to break out (Eric being drunk and all, this is no surprise). After a few moments, Eric jumps back on stage and starts singing again.
At the end of the 3rd song some hardcore kid decides to bum rush the stage and plows into Eric knocking him into Jays sampling equipment and fucking it all up. The rest of the band goes to help Eric while hes getting the fuck beaten out of him. Mean while, Brady (my boyfriend) goes up to one of the guys and starts asking, WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING?! and all he gets is at least 5 punches in the face, and then put into a choke hold for 30 seconds.
Finally Brady finds me and I tell him, lets get outta here. He walked to his car without saying anything to me, and left. I knew he was upset so I let him go and just told him to call me and come to my house.
This whole night was super fucked. It makes me sad to see that some hardcore kid kept a grudge against Eric for something he said 3 months prior. It also upsets me to see that this is what the music scene has been reduced to; kids who cant live and let live.

Jesse - Guitar Broken in 2. Also needs stiches under left eye from being hit with a mic stand
Jay - Sample shit got knocked over and broken. Can't walk on ankle
Eric - heard he got fucked up pretty bad but also heard hes fine.
Steve and Troy - the only 2 that had no injurys.
Brady:
Nothing broken, just a few cuts and bruises and broken blood vessels in right eye
Fate of the HARDCORE kids:
Troy said hes going to press charges and try to get some money to replace whatever is broken. Jesse says "fuck the Graceland" and doesnt feel like playing there ever again, considering the Graceland is holding Drown Mary responcible for what happened (bullshit)
