hey,
i just saw "garden state" yesterday and really enjoyed it. Its the exact kind of evil entity that i have sworn to hate and fight against but recently, I've just been caring less and less. It kind of reminds me of back in the day when i just didn't feel anything.
anyway, back to the movie. apparently, its making it pretty big and its now showing in bigger theaters even though its not really the so-called "independent" film that it claims to be so i would have expected it to start off better. it is really the kind of movie that i would have liked to write for the most part. I write short scripts but they always come out with such meager dialog. It has however inspired me to put down a project im currently working on and make a real effort on a new script that I'm planning on calling something along the lines of "Bipolar". I'll keep the journal updated on my progress.
other than that, today was the first day of classes for this semester. I'm taking some pretty easy classes and i think that its all going to get very boring, very fast. Only elevated by the fact that I don't really have anyone in any classes to talk to. Have you ever just walked into a room and just decieded that you disliked everyone in it for some reason unknown to you? And since my last college buddy is going back this week, its going to be a long semester of drinking with my drop-out friends and sitting there while my friend's sister bakes cookies.
