Damn I needed that!
about two weeks ago one of my professors asked me to come in and help out with a fashion shoot-a-thon, basically she was going to get new models to comein and we'd help them to set up portfolios, or help freshen up some of the other models material, and she wanted me to come in to kinda help out the newer students, because it was available to all levels in the program, and she wanted to make sure that she had enough people to teach. They had the studio split up into four bays, and sign-up sheets for the students to name their time in specific locales in the studio.
The students that were supposed to be shooting didn't show, the models did. So what did they have?
Me.
I'll be willing to admit I have absolutely NO self-esteem. That all changes when I've got a camera, and I'm in charge. I think it's because I know people want to make sure that they are going to be photographed by someone that knows what they are doing, and that confidence kinda spreads. I know I'm good at shooting, I know I'm good at editing=instant confidence. With about 6 inches of plastic and glass between me and another human being, I'm also able to communicate a whole lot better.
I've got to convert all the files from RAW to Jpeg, and resize them, but I'll probably throw a few up here soon...

Confidence is good, now to slowly remove the plastic and glass barrier..........
