Pain.
Oh god pain.
So yeah the blind date wasn't the only time I moved someone over the last week or so.
This week I helped Andisoo and Jen move from Clifton to a house in Northside.
Sparky, Matt and I got over there early to find
1) They'd already moved out the small stuff (good thing)
2) They had multiple cats (Matt and I are allergic)
3) Two story house
4) in order to get to the truck we had to climb another flight of stairs.
5) Only the big stuff was left.
and they moved to a nice two story in Northside.
There was beer and pizza.
Here's a tip: In 90 degree weather, it is a bad idea to have beer and pizza before finishing the task of carrying heavy objects...it only leads to bad things.
I'm looking for work. The insurance company I work for has sliced my hours and it's really nailing my wallet to the wall right now. Freelance photo work is drying up fast, because I don't have a lot of contacts.
I don't want to work for a portrait studio, most of those places are pretty much set where they tell you exactly how to shoot and monkeypushthebutton.
I'm not that big on weddings either. Let's face it, between dealing with the parents (most of my friends are wedding photogs, I hear all the horror stories) and the fact that I'm lonely and depressed enough that I hate going to my friends wedding, it's not a great idea.
If I stay in Cincinnati, I will most likely have to do one of those two things just to survive.
What I'd love to do: CD Covers. Band Photography. Promotional stuff. Magazine work. Website work, anything just as long as I don't have to be monkeypushthebutton.
anybody have any leads?

Hmmmm sorry no contacts on photo work. Good luck, and if it comes down to monkeypushthebutton; just do it while you look for something better.
