Today is July 12, Henry David Thoreau's birthday. Thoreau was a transcendentalist author in the 19th century. He was an author and a rebel, at one point in his life he was jailed because he refused to pay taxes. Thoreau also made it a point to live deliberately:
"Live each season as it passes,breathe the air, drink the drink and taste the fruit and resign yourself to the influences of each."
"What people say you cannot do, you try and find you can."
Can you think of any more beautiful way to live life than on your terms? the only thing stopping you from happiness being yourself? Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to do such a thing
