Now that all of the turkey, stuffing, and mac & cheese has come and gone..........
Cranberry sauce still staining our shirts..............
And the pumpkin pie sitting in the back of the refrigerator............
We can finally get to my favorite holiday of all.......NEW YEARS!!!!
Just kidding, im so glad that we are coming to Christmas. I love this time of year, and it just feels so warm and nice People saying "happy holidays" and being nice and crap like that, I love it. Hopefully, I should be able to go to New York and see a broadway show, and "circumnavigate" Time Square. Sip some cider, watch "A Christmas Story" and wait for Santa to come down my chimney......wait, slide down the drainspout, cuz i dont have a chimney. So I can tell him, that his cookles and milk are gone, and that he has 5 seconds to drop my presents and vacate the premises before the on-site attack hounds are released. *sigh*.....Christmas.
So back to reality......today I made a customer's daughter cry at work. This girl came to my register with her mom, and as I was almost finished the transaction, she started fidgeting with the our gate alarm. Gate Alarm-literally a phone wire connected to a jack, if the wire is disconnected, an alarm similar to the buzzing sound in OPERATION goes off until it is reconnected (or turned off with a key). I turn to the girl and give her this quasi-menacing look, and she starts to connect it, but can't seem to make it fit. Her mom says to her "just connect it", and I take out my keys and turn it off, and JOKINGLY turn the alarm back on real quick. Finally, i turn off the alarm and go about finishing the sale. The girl's mom and I are laughing, and then i notice that the girl is crying. I apologize to the girl and ask if she would like a soda, because all children (except her) LAUGH when i joke with them. But she was different, and it made me kinda sad. I don't like to see other people cry, ESPECIALLY when I am to blame. Of course the girl kept crying until they left, and I felt really bad............i hope that she doesn't get her dad to sue me.
besides all that whiny-girly bullshit...............GET READY FOR CHRISTMAS BIATCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
el nia con lagrimas........
