So, I sent back the T-Mobile MDA and sent for a Motorola RAZR.
Although I will miss the QWERTY keyboard, I felt as though I need a minimalist phone.
When looking for this phone, i wanted the following:
1. Sleek gray or black design.
2. Quad-Band/World Phone
3. Picture/Video
4. Full Color
5. Large Screen


Easily enough, the RAZR had that, and it was staring me in the face for 8 years. Of course, I was blinded by the 6MB email address, QWERTY keyboard, and flip-up screen that the Sidekick II had. But that phone kept fucking up, and I had to send it back 3 times. My original contract with T-Mobile ended September 20th, and I was about to switch to Cingular or Sprint. I went and priced phones and plans through different companies. Although the phones were cheaper, you would get things like 450 minutes for 49.99, and if you had a Smartphone/PDA you had to get "PDA Plans" that ranged from 29.99 to 59.99 a month. What T-Mobile lacks in shitty ass products, it sure as hell makes up for it with kickass rate prices. I am going to be saving 30$ a month by dropping the "Sidekick Data Plan", and saving money is really nice.
