But honestly, your wording keeps changing. Being gay doesn't mean ACTING gay - it means having an attraction to someone to the same sex. You could go your whole life never acting on it but it wouldn't make you any less gay.
In the first part of your post, you said the attraction would always be there and that you can't change who you're attracted to. You then go on to say that you can choose to be gay or straight. Those are two very conflicting statements.
If you'll always be attracted to both sexes, you'll always be bisexual. You can't change that. You can't choose whether or not to be that. You can only choose whether or not you act on it.
I'm not opposed to you wanting to be straight, but I am opposed to your very dangerous choice of words. Unless you actually mean that you can TURN OFF your ATTRACTION to both sexes, you CANNOT choose your sexual orientation.
And it's dangerous because the "Is it a choice?" question is pivotal in gay rights. If it's a choice, then homophobes would really/i] feel justified in calling you a perverted fag that's doomed to eternal Hell. They wouldn't mind at all taking away your rights to be happy with a man you love. And there is no shortage of people out there that would cheerfully kill you for wanting to do just that.
