ok so we have decided on louis if people pronounce it wrong i will just have to correct them, and then as he gets older he can too. buti think the majority of people would get it right.
this bump is getting big! its getting really hard to sit down and get up of the sofa. night time is quite hellish too. i have a sore pelvis.
i watched a hideous programme the other day that totally got me in a panic about how fat pregnant women have much worse labours with complications and the rate of death during pregnancy is much higher......so now im scared. granted....the women in the programme were a lot heavier than me.....but im still very large, and i am apparently according to my bmi (at the start of my pregnancy) and classed as obese. great.
also fat women are much more likely to have huge babies, like somewhere between 10 to 15 lb babies!!!!!!!
ok so update on baby louis progress!
he is now around 28 cm (11 inches) from head to toe! and he weighs a whole pound!!!!
and he will look somthing like this!
im 23 weeks tommorow!!
we are looking at clearing the spare room out and getting alick of fresh paint on the walls, and then sort out louis' room. everything has arrived now so we just wanna get it all ready and sorted for when he comes.
he has been kicking and moving loads!!! its so amazing to just watch my belly, and see all his movements from thje outside. cant wait till they are even easier to see. although im sure it wont feel that nice! sometimes when he kicks me, he makes me jump!

Allyson in the United States is usually spelled A-L-L-*I*-S-O-N.
I was told that the "y" gives it more of a German tone, and it's alright to use it that way, seeing as that we are primarily German, i wanted to stick to heritage, at least a little bit.
I can't tell you the number of times i hear her say "Daddy! They spelled my name wrong!"
