I will just answer the Swim questions. I would rather deal with the water than the land. I have actually swam 5 miles in the dark with just the light of the destination. I ran into a bunch of Oyster Fisherman on my way. They showed me how they dive.  I was a pilot Rescue Swimmer in the Navy.
