So you'll notice that I didn't start out with a warning that there are "spoilers" below. Well that's because there really isn't anything to spoil about Cloverfield - not in the way of plot points or what the super-secret monster looks like anyways. If you've seen The Blair Witch Project then you've seen Cloverfield, just substitute NYC for the woods and some monster/ alien/ Cthulhu type thing that you never really get that good of a look at (accept one close up right at the end) for the witch. If you're expecting some explanations on what the monster is or where it came from then you're really gunna hate this movie. Also take some motion sickness drugs before going to see this one as the camera work was apparently done by Michael J. Fox after downing a case of RedBull.

That's not to say I didn't like the movie, well actually I'm not sure if I liked it or not. It's worth seeing but it wasn't anything mind blowing. At an hour and fifteen minutes with all action and no real plot Cloverfield seems more like a long trailer for a really good movie than an actual movie itself. I have a feeling that this movie could be a set up for another film or even a TV series in the works.

Lastly you Lost fans will love it, there are a million burning questions and mysteries in this film and absolutely zero answers. Also if there is really some sort of tie in between the monster in Cloverfield and the monster on the Lost island I didn't catch it.
