This is what I dont get...
When an elderly ex president in the late stages of alsimers disease dies. A national day of morning is declared and at a cost of over $400 million dollars the federal government comes to a standstill. The TV sings of nothing but precisions and ceremonies. All for a man whos only claim to fame is the mediocrity of those to follow him. Yet come election day, the day we actually decide on who will be president. The day, perhaps more than any other that will decide the direction of the nation for the next 4 years and its everything as normal and no one can seem to find any money left over to buy voting machines that work.
