i was checking my online bank account and recived some random error which i would have normal ignred but one thing caught my eye.. and that was the web server they were using..
internet information server (also known as IIS)... nothing to spectaculare about that except the fact they were using version 2... for those that don't know IIS versioning.. the current version is 6 and i dont know anyone that uses anything older than 5.. in fact most software wont even run on 4 anymore... but 2... my god... i tried to google info on it to figure out when it was released but unfortanatly it predates most of the internet.. i did however find a book written about IIS 2 and it was published in 1993 so the software must have been released before that.. nothing like banking on an 11 year old computer system... i feel safe now ..
