so my car overheated.. and i took it in and they put more coolent in it and i drove it and it REALLY overheated.. so its basicaly dead.. no car... time to go new car shopping... anyone have recomendations for something economica. mad

It may just need a new water pump. I'm not sure if it's worth it, since I don't know how much your car is worth, but it's probably something you can repair instead of writing off the car.

Let me see what I can hook up. I got my '99 Dodge Stratus (75,000 miles) for $3500. The blue book value was $7000. I got it through a State Farm silent auction. They do them every few months to get rid of company cars. The cars are always in perfect condition when they sell them, since they're an insurance company and wouldn't dare sell a car that doesn't have bad brakes. wink Also, as company cars, you know they were maintained every month and only have highway miles on them. I'm happy with my purchase.

I'll dash off an email to my friend, if you want. She'll let me know when the next auction is, along with a list of the cars they're offering.

you might want to get it looked at. it may be cheaper to get it fixed than to buy another one.
