Howdy!
A bit of an update: I'm rarely on SG these days, but I like to drop in from time to time and update and check in on things. I have had some whirlwind relocation:
As stated in previous blog entries, after 20 years in Atlanta, I moved to Indianapolis in Oct 2010. I was staying with my brother and sister-in-law in a northern suburb,...

Kentucky seems like a nice country place to live. What matters is being close to family. It's nice to be able to see relatives often without involving a far trip. Of course some relatives I enjoy seeing only on holidays, but I'm glad that I can have dinner with my parents every weekend before they're gone. I would like to be able to spend more time with my brother and his family, who live several hours away.
Another quick update: work continues to be very demanding of my time and sanity. School term ends July 30th (my birthday!) and I'm not sure what I'm teaching next term. Desperately trying to kick this Adjunct contract-to-contract cycle, and find a full-time gig with health benefits.
In other news, I have been mildly social: went to 2 July 4th parties (didn't drive to either) and...

...so, I'm fairly new to SG. I've known about it for a long while, however. Previously, when I lived in Atlanta, I had friends who were either trying to get their picture sets up on SG, or else joined to admire the work of others. When I...

Was allerdings derzeit nervt: Die Umlaute funktionieren derzeit nicht vernuenftig!
